IX Scientific Conference “Energy Security – Pillars and Development Perspective” 2024

The Scientific Conference "Energy Security - Pillars and Development Perspectives" is one of the most important meetings of the energy industry in the country, a place for presentation of concepts, as well as scientific and expert discussions.

The Conference is organized by the Ignacy Lukasiewicz Institute of Energy Policy in cooperation with the Ignacy Lukasiewicz Rzeszow University of Technology and with the support of the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Management of Rzeszow University of Technology.

The role of coordinator of the implementation of tasks related to the organization of the Conference is performed by the Institute of Energy Policy.

The purpose of the event is to contribute to the scientific and expert discussion on energy policy, energy security and the energy sector in the broadest sense. We believe that the creation of a platform for holding discussions involving scientists, experts, representatives of public administration, energy companies, NGOs, as well as business journalists and students, contributes to the development of scientific output in this area of knowledge.

Traditionally, the Ignacy Lukasiewicz Awards will be presented during the Conference to individuals and institutions involved in creating energy security. 

As part of participation in the Conference, there is an opportunity to publish scientific articles in reputable journals. 

Previous 2023 Edition

More than 320 people attended the 8th edition of the 2023 Conference. More than 150 speakers appeared in 25 panels, including many guests from abroad. Participants represented 46 scientific centers and 116 institutions and companies. The event was supported by 26 partners, 18 honorary patrons and 22 media patrons.
