Andrzej PODRAZA, PhD, DSc, ProfTit
Political scientist, Head of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Affairs at the Faculty of Social Sciences of the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Head of the International Relations Office at the Catholic University of Lublin. His main areas of interest are global relations, European integration, transatlantic relations, international security, including the concept and threats of energy security and security in cyberspac and protection of critical infrastructure. In the past he was a researcher at the Royal Institute of International Affairs in London (Chatham House) and an expert of the European Commission. Member of Team Europe at the European Commission Representation in Warsaw. Member of many national and international scientific associations. Lecturer in many foreign centres. Author of many scientific publications published in Poland and abroad, including those on energy security and cyberspace.

Adam SZURLEJ, BEng, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof.
Associate professor at the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He graduated from the Faculty of Energy and Fuels, AGH. Administrator of postgraduate course: Natural gas market – opportunities and barriers to development. His scope of scientific interest is related to the natural gas market, energy security, energy policy and broadly understood energy raw materials trade. Author or co-author of over 100 publications.

Tomasz MŁYNARSKI, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof.
The political scientist and associate professor at the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations, Jagiellonian University. He specializes in issues connected with energy security, contemporary foreign policy and security of France. He is the author of monographs and articles, e.g., Bezpieczeństwo energetyczne w pierwszej dekadzie XXI w. Rafał MIĘTKIEWICZ, Commander, PhD DSc
Head oficer of the Naval Warfare Department, Faculty of Command and Naval Operations, Polish Naval Academy. Graduate of Gdynia Maritime University (Postgraduade Studies of Security and Crisis Mnagement). An author of two books and few dozens of papers concerning use of unmanned systems in maritime domain. The area of scientific interests related to modern technologies in activity at sea including maritime critical infrastructure protection (energetic primarily).

Tomasz MIROWSKI, BEng, PhD
Researcher at the Division of Minerals and Energy Sustainable Development at the Mineral and Energy Economy Research Institute of the Polish Academy of Sciences. He deals with the use of energy from renewable sources, in particular biomass, as well as fuel and energy management in economic and environmental aspects, both in large-scale and distributed (prosumer) power generation. In the years 2001-2014 he worked on a scientific and didactic position at the Faculty of Energy and Fuels of the AGH University of Science and Technology. Apart from his scientific work at the Institute, he has also been an expert since 2009 at the National Centre for Research and Development in the field of biofuels and the Regional Operational Programme for the Małopolska Region for 2007-2013 and 2014-2020 in the field of Environmental Protection and Renewable Energy Sources and Energy Efficiency.

Doctoral degree in economic sciences awarded by the Institute of Economic Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Dissertation: "Application of the DEA method to analyze changes in the technical efficiency of regulated network companies. On the example of national electricity distribution companies". Professionally involved in the electric power sector since 1994. Expert of the Energy Policy Institute since 2016. Professionally associated with PGE Dystrybucja, where she is the head of the office for modeling of grid operations. PGE Dystrybucja's representative in the E.DSO association (European electricity distribution system operators) as a member of the Committees: Technology & Knowledge Sharing, Innovation & Research, Regulation and Policy. Member of EU DSO Entity expert groups: Distributed Flexibility, Existing Network Codes, Digital Energy Sector Action Plan. Former Vice Chair of WG1 Reliable, economic and efficient energy system group in ETIP SNET (European Technology & Innovation Platforms, Smart Networks for Energy Transition). Expert in the Demand Side Flexibility group established by ACER. Expert in the WG6: Stationary Applications and Integration group of the Batteries Europe association. Area of scientific interest related to the electricity sector, including regulatory issues for the sector at the EU level and the development of new technologies in the energy market. Leading topic is various aspects of electricity system flexibility, including technical and regulatory. Involved in EU-level regulatory development work related to new and current grid codes. In addition, energy communities, digitization of the sector and new technologies including energy storage and hydrogen are of interest.

Doctor of Social Sciences, graduate of the Jagiellonian University and stipendist of Duisburg-Essen University in Germany. Tomasz CHYŁA, Lieutenant Commander, BEng, MSc
Graduate of a master's degree in navigation and naval armament and postgraduate studies in hydrography at the Faculty of Navigation of the Bohaterów Westerplatte Naval Academy in Gdynia. He is a student of postgraduate studies "Offshore Wind Energy" at the Gdansk University of Technology. He has several years of naval experience, which included service on missile ships, a corvette and a frigate, as well as civilian fleet watch officer's certificates. Currently, he is a doctoral student and senior lecturer in the Department of Maritime Operations at the Faculty of Command and Maritime Operations of the Naval Academy. His area of interest includes the development of offshore wind energy in the maritime areas of the Republic of Poland, elements of security of maritime infrastructure and issues of energy resources supply by sea. His scientific interests also focus on the impact of implemented modern energy technologies on the level of national security. Expert of the I.Lukasiewicz Institute for Energy Policy. Participant of the "Sectoral Agreement for the Development of Offshore Wind Energy in Poland" at the Ministry of Climate and Environment (Working Group No. 2: Research and Development). A graduate of the European Studies in the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science and Law in the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw.
