In 2016, the I. Lukasiewicz Institute of Energy Policy initiated a scientific project titled “Prometheus on a human scale – Ignacy Łukasiewicz”, the aim of which is to prepare the first biography of Ignacy Łukasiewicz in English. In 2018 an agreement was signed with the international publishing house Peter Lang, as well as agreements with sponsors and donors of the book: Foundation Museum of Oil and Gas Industry Named After Ignacy Łukasiewicz in Bóbrka, PERN, GAZ-SYSTEM and BGK. We would like to thank all the entities supporting the promotion of the Polish history of the energy sector abroad. The work will result in a scientific book which will be published in English in 2019:
