Chairman of the Institute for Energy Policy moderates “Energy Security of Poland” panel at the Poland Security Congress in Rzeszów

Rzeszów, June 11-12, 2025 – Mariusz Ruszel, PhD, DSc, Assoc. Prof., Chairman of the Ignacy Lukasiewicz Institute for Energy Policy, will moderate the panel titled “Energy Security of Poland” during the upcoming Poland Security Congress (KBP).

During the panel, experts will discuss key topics related to the country’s energy security, such as:

  • Security and the strategy for the transformation of Polish energy,
  • Stability of gas supplies amid regional and global political tensions,
  • The future of nuclear energy and its role in Poland’s security,
  • Increasing and decentralizing the ownership of renewable energy sources on land from a security perspective.

In the context of dynamic geopolitical and technological changes, ensuring security has become a priority for Poland.
