Mariusz RUSZEL, PhD
Expert and President of the Management Board of Ignacy Łukasiewicz Institute of Energy Policy. Associate professor at the Department of Economy of the Faculty of Management, Rzeszow University of Technology. Graduate of Faculty of International and Political Studies of University of Lodz. He is an energy policy expert at the Casimir Pulaski Foundation and energy and climate expert at the Kościuszko Institute Expert for the Presidential Expert Programme "Ideas Laboratory" (2012-2013). Reviewer of Polish and international scientific journals. Author of a few dozen scientific papers and analyses concerning energy policy and energy security.

Adam SZURLEJ, PhD, DSc, Eng. Associate Professor
Associate professor at the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas, AGH University of Science and Technology in Kraków. He graduated from the Faculty of Energy and Fuels, AGH. Administrator of postgraduate course: Natural gas market – opportunities and barriers to development. His scope of scientific interest is related to the natural gas market, energy security, energy policy and broadly understood energy raw materials trade. Author or co-author of over 100 publications.
Tomasz MŁYNARSKI, PhD, DSc, Associate Professor
A political scientist and associate professor at the Department of International Relations and Foreign Policy of the Institute of Political Sciences and International Relations, Jagiellonian University. He specializes in issues connected with energy security, contemporary foreign policy and security of France. He is the author of monographs and articles, e.g., Bezpieczeństwo energetyczne w pierwszej dekadzie XXI w. Mozaika interesów i geostrategii [Energy security in the first decade of the 21st century: a mosaic of interests and geostrategies] (2011), Francja w procesie uwspólnotowienia bezpieczeństwa energetycznego i polityki klimatycznej Unii Europejskiej [France in the course of communitising energy security and climate policy of the European Union] (2013), Energetyka jądrowa wobec globalnych wyzwań bezpieczeństwa energetycznego i reżimu nieproliferacji w erze zmian klimatu [Nuclear power vs global challenges of energy security and the non-proliferation regime in the age of climate changes] (2016).
Ewa MATACZYŃSKA, PhD
Ekspert of Ignacy Łukasiewicz Institute of Energy Policy. PhD degree in economics awarded by the Institute of Economic Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. Dissertation: ’Application of the DEA method for technical effectiveness analysis of regulated network enterprises. The case study of national electricity distribution companies’. Since 1994 she has been working for the electricity sector. PKEE representative in the Eurelectric structure – member of WG Active Distribution Management System. The area of scientific interests related to the electricity sector, including regulatory directives for the sector at EU level, balancing market, the development of local energy communities and the development and operation of system services at the level of distribution networks.
LTCD (OF-3) POL N, PhD Rafał Miętkiewicz
Head oficer of the Naval Warfare Department, Faculty of Command and Naval Operations, Polish Naval Academy. Graduate of Gdynia Maritime University (Postgraduade Studies of Security and Crisis Mnagement). An author of two books and few dozens of papers concerning use of unmanned systems in maritime domain. The area of scientific interests related to modern technologies in activity at sea including maritime critical infrastructure protection (energetic primarily).
Anna KUCHARSKA, MA, PhD Candidate
A graduate of the Faculty of Political Studies at the Jagiellonian University in Poland and a scholarship holder from Duisburg-Essen University in Germany. Currently a PhD Candidate in the Chair of Strategy of International Relations at the Institute of Political Science and International Relations of the Jagiellonian University; also a member of the International Political Science Association. The main areas of interests and research are in the energy and security policies of German-speaking countries.
Dominik BRODACKI, MA, PhD Candidate
A graduate of the European Studies in the Faculty of Journalism and Political Science and Law in the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Warsaw. Currently a PhD Candidate in the Institute of European Studies at the Faculty of Political Science and International Studies of the University of Warsaw. Main research interests are focused on the energy policy, the natural gas market, e-mobility, as well as the energy law, in particular the EU law.
